We're building the most comprehensive crypto data API we can, and it's still growing — there's always a coin, a field or an endpoint we haven't got to yet.
Please tell us about any data you think Crypto Data API should nail but doesn't. We're data nerds who love to geek out about market data, trading bots, AI agents, or how to make your trading stack work in general. Prefer a form? Send feedback.
Live charts for your article, newsletter or dashboard: the Crypto Volatility Index, daily spot ETF flows for Bitcoin, Ether and Solana, and Hyperliquid liquidation heatmaps. Copy the code and paste it into any page that accepts HTML. Each chart refreshes on every load.

Crypto Volatility Index
Crypto Volatility Index (CVI)
Market-wide 30-day realized volatility across the liquid crypto universe, 90 days of history, updated hourly.
Yes. Any site, newsletter or article can embed them for free, with no API key and no sign-up. The only condition is to keep the source line under the chart, which the copy-paste code already includes.
How often do the embedded charts update?
Every time the chart loads it shows our latest data. The volatility index is recomputed hourly, ETF flows add each US trade day once every fund has reported, and the liquidation heatmap shows the newest Hyperliquid snapshot that is at least 30 minutes old.
Can I use a screenshot instead of the iframe?
Yes. Many publications don't allow iframes. Screenshots are fine with a credit and a link to the chart's page, for example: Source: Crypto Volatility Index by Crypto Data API, linking to cryptodataapi.com/volatility-index.
Can I match the chart to my site's dark or light theme?
Yes. By default the chart follows the reader's system theme. Add ?theme=dark or ?theme=light to the iframe URL to fix it.
Do the embeds track my readers?
No. The embedded pages load no analytics, no cookies and no third-party scripts. They are plain HTML and an inline SVG chart.
Can I get the underlying data?
Yes. Every chart is built from the same data the Crypto Data API serves: GET /api/v1/volatility/index for the CVI, GET /api/v1/market-intelligence/etf/{asset}/flows for ETF flows and GET /api/v1/quant/positioning/ladder for the live liquidation ladder. A free API key covers the first two; the live ladder is part of Pro Plus.
