We're building the most comprehensive crypto data API we can, and it's still growing — there's always a coin, a field or an endpoint we haven't got to yet.
Please tell us about any data you think Crypto Data API should nail but doesn't. We're data nerds who love to geek out about market data, trading bots, AI agents, or how to make your trading stack work in general. Prefer a form? Send feedback.

Whale book as of 03:50 UTC: 3,723 accounts over $100k hold positions; 44.7% of whale notional is long.
The radar tracks every Hyperliquid account worth more than $100,000 that holds an open perpetual position, a few thousand crypto whales at any moment. The three coins they hold the most swim on the radar; the next five swim beside them as calves, each in the half of its bias.
This page is a free preview: the top three coins in full, about 30 minutes late. The API serves every coin whales hold, in real time, with the account counts, the tag cohorts and the 30-day percentile:
curl -H "X-API-Key: cdk_live_yourkey" \ "https://cryptodataapi.com/api/v1/quant/whales"
Each row of top_coins carries long_usd, short_usd, net_usd, directional_net_usd, long_pct, long_pct_pctile_30d, n_long and n_short. The 5-minute history is the whale_activity snapshot type in the backtesting archive. Pro tier; see the whale activity docs, or the Whale Activity page for the daily long/short history.
Every Hyperliquid account worth more than $100,000 that holds an open perpetual position, a few thousand accounts at any time. Each is classified as a market maker, a directional whale or other, and tagged smart money or high leverage from its trading record.
Each big whale is a coin, and its size is the dollar value of whale positions in that coin. Coins whose whales lean more long than usual sit in the top half, coins leaning more short than usual in the bottom half. The further out from the centre, the more unusual the whales' long share is against the last 30 days.
Whale positions are snapshotted every 5 minutes. This free page shows them about 30 minutes late and refreshes itself when the next snapshot is due. The real-time feed, every coin included, is the GET /api/v1/quant/whales endpoint.
